Malaise Muscle Edition

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Inspired by yesterday's weird obsession with "crappy" malaise cars. Both have in the neighborhood of 200 hp

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Also if you missed yesterday's hot hatch edition, there was a twin charged Micra, a SuperBoss, and a goes-like-hell Shelby. Check it out !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Associating "malaise era" with "crappy cars" is a deep mistake. Perhaps I should disclose which car did Car magazine in the UK praise as "[attaining] quite remarkable heights of refinement considering its remarkably basic and cheap engineering", "[comparing] more favourably most of the time to the Rolls [Silver Shadow] than most people would imagine" or "[suffering] no major vices". A British car magazine, note.

(Answer: 1978 Cadillac Seville)

I'd take the Mirada. Add a built 360 and have it hunkered down on fat tires. Think touring style. If I had unlimited time and money, I'd love to make some malaise muscle cars match their looks. Off to Craigslist...

Relative to other era's, they were crappy in some ways. Personally I love em, but in the end they are what they are, that is, malaise era cars. I put crappy in quotation marks for you.

I voted for the Can Am. But my heart is with the 1973-75 Century GS.
